Geoffrey A. Dyer
Founder and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors
Geoffrey A. Dyer is the founder and Vice Chairman of Lifestyle Family Fitness. Geoff, a native of Melbourne, Australia, has 33 years experience in the Fitness Industry. During his career, Geoff served as President of the International Health, Racquet & Sports Club Association (IHRSA), the largest association for Health Clubs with more than 7,000 member clubs worldwide. He is also founding director of the Florida Health Club Association (FHCA).

Stuart G. Lasher
Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Audit and Compensation Committees
Stuart G. Lasher, CPA, began his career in 1980 with KPMG Peat Marwick. From 1986 to 1989, Stuart was Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a national retailer, which grew from 6 to 90 locations and from annual revenue of $6 million in 1986 to $200 million in 1989. During Stuart’s tenure he completed a venture capital financing, an IPO, and a secondary offering. In 1990, Stuart co-founded National Business Solutions, Inc., and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) which grew from start up to more than $200 million of revenue in 1996. Paychex, Inc. acquired NBS in August 1996. Stuart and NBS received numerous awards: including a finalist of Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year for 1996; Inc. Magazine’s 57th fastest growing company in 1995, and winner of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 1996. Since 1998, Stuart has served as Chairman and CEO of Quantum Capital Partners, Inc., a private equity firm that invests in emerging businesses in the Southeast.

Todd M. Bright
President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board Director
Todd M. Bright is President and CEO of Lifestyle Family Fitness. Todd joined the Lifestyle Family Fitness Team in 2000. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Todd served as a Board Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Before joining Lifestyle Family Fitness, Todd was with the accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick from 1987 to 1993. He then joined the Eckerd Corporation, where he was the Vice President of Planning and Analysis, responsible for forecasting and budgeting for 2,800 stores ($12 billion in annual sales), as well as analysis of acquisitions, new markets, and new stores. Todd holds a Masters degree in Accounting from Florida State University.

Kevin Laferriere
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Kevin Laferriere joined the Lifestyle Family Fitness team in 2000. He is responsible for overseeing Club Sales, Operations, Personal Training, and Group Fitness. Previously, Kevin held the positions of Company Fitness Director and Vice President of Fitness Services. During this time, Mr. Laferriere grew the Fitness Services division by more than 1000%. He is a veteran of the fitness industry with over 18 years experience, has numerous national Personal Training Certifications, and is a Master Instructor with Premier Training Solutions. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Biological Science from the University of South Florida.

Scott Busby
Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO), and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Scott Busby joined Lifestyle Family Fitness in 2005. He is responsible for Information Services, Member Services, Payroll Services, and Team Services. Prior to joining Lifestyle, Scott was a founding member of the management team of Advantec HR, a leading national provider of integrated human resource management services. During this time, Scott served as the CIO and COO of Advantec. Prior to Advantec, he was a founding member of the initial management team for ADP TotalSource, another leading national provider of integrated human resource management services. Scott received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida.

Matt Gough
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Matt Gough joined Lifestyle Family Fitness in 2007. Matt is a CPA with over 17 years of finance and accounting experience, including 9 years with KPMG Peat Marwick and 8 years in the private sector. At KPMG, Matt spent 7 years in the Tampa Bay market and 2 years in the Netherlands on an international assignment. In Matt’s previous position, he served as Chief Financial Officer of VIA Networks, a publicly traded internet service provider and communications company operating in 9 countries, based in London. Matt received a Bachelor of Science Degree, and a Master Degree, in Accounting from the University of Florida.

Wayne Hanewicz
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Wayne Hanewicz joined Lifestyle Family Fitness in 2006. Previously with the law firm of Foley & Lardner for over 7 years, Wayne specialized in corporate and regulatory law. Wayne has been a professor of law at the University of Florida College of Law for 4 years, where he taught and published in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts. Wayne received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Amherst College and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.

N. John Simmons, Jr.
Director
John Simmons, CPA, previously with KPMG Peat Marwick from 1976 to 1993, audited Publix Super Markets, Jabil Circuit, Danka Business Systems, and Checkers Drive-In Restaurants. In January 1993, he joined Checkers as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Checkers doubled its size in 1993 (121 to 227 restaurants, and $90-million to $190-million in sales). From 1995 to 1998, he was Vice President and Controller of Eckerd Corporation which doubled in size from $5-billion to $10-billion when it merged with the JCPenney drug store operation. He is currently President of Quantum Capital Partners.

Drew Graham
Director and Chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committees
Drew A. Graham is Managing Partner and co-founder of Ballast Point Ventures, L.P., a venture capital firm that provides growth equity capital to rapidly growing private companies throughout the Southeastern United States. He was principal and partner of South Atlantic Venture Funds, the predecessor fund to Ballast Point Ventures. Prior to South Atlantic, he began his private equity career with the Merchant Banking Division of Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc., in New York, New York. Drew graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in 1989, with an A.B. degree, and received a Master Degree with distinction in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1995.

Ernie Mascara
Director and Member of the Compensation Committee
Ernie Mascara is sole shareholder in the Law Offices of Ernest L. Mascara P.A., a law firm concentrating on real estate, corporations, general business law, and banking. Prior to this, he was a founding partner in a Pinellas County law firm that now employs 25 people. A partner in the law firm of Greene and Mastry (now Holland and Knight, LLP) he handled all forms of real estate transactions and commercial and financial institution transactions. Ernie is also involved in building a number of small-mid-size privately owned companies. He is an active member of a variety of organizations within the Tampa Bay community, including the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Palms of Pasadena Hospital.

Craig Sher
Director and Member of the Audit Committee
Craig Sher is President and CEO of The Sembler Company, one of the most recognized retail development and management firms, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, responsible for more than 115 major shopping center projects and more than 150 freestanding retail stores. Craig is a respected icon in the real estate and shopping center industry. He is a graduate of Northwestern University with Master Degrees in both Communication and Management.

Don Burton
Advisor to the Board
Don Burton is Managing General Partner of the Burton Partnership, Limited Partnership. The Burton Partnership, headquartered in Tampa, Florida invests in both public and private companies, with an equity capital in excess of $330M. Don founded and operated the South Atlantic Venture Funds I, II, III, and IV, (Limited Partnerships), from 1983 to 2008. The South Atlantic Venture Funds invested approximately $180M in 65 private companies during the life of the funds. Prior to founding South Atlantic Venture Funds, Mr. Burton was a General Partner of Fidelity Ventures Limited, (Boston, Massachusetts). Currently, Don serves on the Board of Directors of Knology, Inc., Capital Southwest Corporation, and several private companies. He also serves as an Independent Director on the BlackRock Equity Bond Board. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies in 1966 and from Harvard Business School with a Masters of Business Administration in 1971. Don served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1969.

Robert D. Basham
Advisor to the Board
Bob Basham, 60, is co-founder and vice-chairman of Outback Steakhouse, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Bob started his career in a family-operated restaurant business. In 1973, Bob then entered the management program of the Steak & Ale Restaurant Company. Capitalizing on various management opportunities, Bob became Vice President of Operations of the Bennigan’s Concept and was instrumental in the successful nationwide expansion of that concept. In October, 1983, Bob went on to form Sunstate Restaurant Corporation, to develop the Chili’s Concept as a franchisee and joint venture partner in Georgia and Florida. The company merged with Chili’s Inc, in January, 1987, and Bob continued in his Operations position there until March, 1988, when he, Chris Sullivan, and Tim Gannon then co-founded Outback Steakhouse and opened their first location in Tampa, Florida. Since then, they have added 1480 locations to their conglomerate, including other well-known restaurants in and outside the Tampa Bay area, such as Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s, Roy’s, Lee Roy Selmon’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Blue Coral, and Outback International. He graduated from the University of Maryland.
