Getting started with a fitness program or even going in for your first workout in a new, unfamiliar health club can be intimidating. That’s why we provide 3 FREE introductory training sessions* with your new membership—a $150 value. At Lifestyle Family Fitness, we want to take away any uncertainties about coming to the gym and sticking with your program.


 

Your Introductory Training Sessions include:


A Fitness Assessment:
A personalized assessment to evaluate body composition, balance/coordination, anaerobic/ aerobic capacity and flexibility. This will help identify your current fitness level, set a four-week target goal and take you through our Virtual Fitness Planner (VFP). The VFP will show you the transformation that can take place with an active exercise program and indicates possible health risks you may be facing.

Strength and Cardio Introduction:
This session will familiarize you with the proper use of both strength and cardio equipment. You will review the safest, most effective ways to achieve a total body workout using our Xpress-line. The trainer will also review cardiovascular conditioning zones and show you how to calculate your ideal training heart rate.

Core and Flexibility Introduction:
An introduction to core training as well as a demonstration of proper flexibility and stretching techniques. Core training activates muscles such as the abdominals and spinal stabilizers that allow the efficient movement of your entire body. Some of the benefits include increased postural stability, decreased risk of injury and increased strength output.
